On her dam's side, there is some well known stock including Little Tyke, Boone's Marble Fudge, and further back, Rockbridge Maracas. White with bold patches of color, this tri-color spot is ready to light up your field (and your breeding program).

Great Grand Sire:  LA Samuel, 31.5" Gray-Dun
Great Grand Dam:  LA Peggy, 34" Gray-Dun

Sparkler is small and compact with a nice even spotting pattern. Her sire, Windcrest Bentley, has done an outstanding job of producing heavy colored foals and Sparkler is no exception. Sparkler has sorrel in her background from Little Red and Razmataz on her dam's side and the color producing genetics of Little Bentley from her paternal side. This little girl is about as sweet and friendly as they get. She is best friends with Lot #2, her half sister, Brasstown Brayers Impatience, a beautiful dark brown jennet. Why not be the high bidder on them both and keep these two best pals together?

Great Grand Sire:  Andy Capp, Gray Dun
Great Grand Dam:  Bell Acres Hope, Brown

Dam:  LN Red Vee, 33" Dark Red Brown Roan
Grand Sire:  LN Sonfire, 31.5" Dark Sorrel
Great Grand Sire:  LN Redsonneh, 31.5" Dark Sorrel
Great Grand Dam:  Jennie Sam of Bell-E-Acres, 32.5" Sorrel

Grand Dam:  Fisher's Venus in Gray, 33" Gray-Dun Dappled Roan
Great Grand Sire:  Fisher's Tiny Tim, 30" Brown
Great Grand Dam:  Fisher's Sweet Isabelle, 34" Frosted Spotted White

How can you go wrong with this small, balanced jennet? Rapsody has a terrific pedigree. Her dam is an LN Sonfire daughter who also carried the Fisher line. Her sire is unrelated to most sorrels, so she's a nice outcross. There is a lot of sorrel and a lot of short, correct donkeys in Rapsody's pedigree. She herself was only 20" at 24 hours old, with a birth color of dark cherry. Since we clipped her she looks gray. Her future color is anyone's guess, but I think she is going to be more black cherry than gray.
