This splendid black jennet is a daughter of the Versatility Hall of Fame (VHOF) jack, Motown's Secret, and goes back to Red Lightening on her dam's side. A proven true black producer, Caroline has had three jennets for us. Her foals have that glossy blue black color. All have had great chests, good bone on the legs, and perfect teeth. We retained two daughters in our breeding herd, The Elms Black Lace and The Elms Black Diamond. Caroline sells bred to our black herd sire, The Elms Rembrandt, for a 2010 foal.

Jill has been an exceptional producer for us, and 5 of her foals have been black. Conformation is great, in her younger days all the show people wanted to buy her. Her sire, Zeus, came from Lipps breeding, an original importer of miniature donkeys with Sorensen's breeding on the bottom side. Her known pedigree is short, but what's shown has lots of quality.
